PLV, as always stunning work. I love the sky in this, it is really magnificent. I feel as though I’m being drawn into a magical world.
Just one thing, and it may just be me, is the church leaning a little to the left? Was this intentional. As i’m looking at it, I feel like I’m leaning with it! But absolutely stunning piece!

  • Christina Norwood

    Christina Norwood, 11 months ago

Fantastic shot and treatment Paul. I’ve tried to shoot this location myself occasionally but nothing as good as this. BTW, it’s actually Newman College Chapel. St. Mary’s College is next door. I believe Walter Burleigh Griffin was the architect (he was for the rest of Newman).

hmmm…..you know, I think I like the distortion of the wide angle better than the corrected….even with all this magic detail in the sky and stonework…..but that’s just me. What a fantastic sky, Paul, you’ve chosen the best day to shoot this building, that’s for sure!

  • Paul Louis Villani

Paul Louis Vil..., 11 months ago

LOL! You are right Mel, I got lucky with the sky that day!
In regards to the perspective I’m 50/50 about it… I really love my 11mm but sometimes the flange out to the sides irritates me! It’s only when I bring things back to parralel that i think “oh, that’s nice!” LOL!! Thanks mate! :D
