Transitional Industrial Utopia - .06
Captured along my travels, a part of Victoria that just keeps growing. This is my kind of landscape, I feel at home amongst the concrete and grassland. Used an 11 – 17mm with the perspective corrected. This is another from the Transitional Industrial Utopia series.

I like this series so much, Paul. In this one I love the contrast between the looseness and wild expression of the vegetation and the stringent concrete wall with this fascinating little blue door. It provoces a delicious blend of emotions for me. A feeling of lonelyness but also the excitement of noticing that there is beauty and poetry everywhere.

this urban landscape is a great mix of drab concrete and sun burnt foliage. it has a forboding feel like this is not a place where life can flourish. and i just wonder where the door leads to…
