I think guitars make excellent photographic subjects. Come to think of it, most instuments do.
Lighting is spot on here, as is the perspective.

As I said, excellent shot, but I’ve always found Lesters and ESs prettier than even the single-necked SGs. And the twin-neck version just ruins it, IMO. I’d probably be blaspheming further if I said I’d rather hear George Harrison or Peter Green than Jimmy Page. =P

But, excellent shot and I’m sure I’d still play it. =)

Hmmmm, throw into the mix amps and pedals and the order becomes very complicated!! LOL!!

Nice one I find that when I take shots of musical instruments i.e. as a still life they just don’t seem to work. This one works and looks great on a t-shirt… great detail.

Paul…nice job!! I like how the clarity and lighting reflect today, yet this type of guitar was most dominant in the 70’s. And, most shots of this guitar always looked grainy, like with Jimmy Page, or Alex Lifeson (early Alex Lifesone that is). I love this picture!!!! Scott
