Ha! You are so right Photobloke! The gentleman who was holding the sheet music was in his sixties, so the aged skin on the hand worked really well! Thanks mate! :D

Handwritten musical notes are so graphical and beautiful from themselves. And now I see them in this hand that clearly shows the man has lived through a lot: facinating. The dark tones add a lot of atmosphere. I think this picture shows love and respect for music and musicians.

Paul, I was so taken with this beautiful work. Sitting here, trying to describe the emotional response I have to it, I decided to follow the path to PhotoBloke’s poem, which having now read it, I am sitting here with tears in my eyes at the pure sensitivity of both this image and PhotoBloke’s wonderfully evocative words.
