The Campbell
Digitally captured using a Sony Alpha 100 with a 28 – 75mm. This forms part of a series that focuses on local and other odd but full of character architecture. I actually went against my usual principles here by desaturating this image somewhat. The final result visually pleased me but still It actually hurt! ;p!

Och Aye, Paul!!! Good grief, whats the foreground, is that going to be a massive new slab on ground monstrosity?
Lachlan Kent

I think you are spot on Mel, It looked like they were getting ready to demolish this beauty and jam in some high rise block of flats, just what we need in suburbia…. NOT! Thanks Mel!:D

Jonathan, I’d love to do an exhibition on this series, that would be cool!
I’m not sure if it’s going to happen this year though, funds and all that stuff, but I am having a two week exhibition in Sydney in November and the curator is still unsure what she wants me to exhibit, so, I’m pushing for this series even though she has mentioned my B&W (people & faces) works.
We’ll see!

Stuffed if I can get anything short of the Taj Mahal to look good. You seem to have mastered the art! The desaturation cuts some of the confusion and allows the important bits to show.
Paul Louis Vil...
Thanks Steve and you are so right! :D
Prior to the image being desaturated it looked really “messy”.
