Not around much

Hi all.

Just to let you know that I wont be spending much time on here until the beginning of June.
This is due to:-

  1. Catherine having to go to Kent urgently and wont be back until the end of the month.
  2. Visitors arriving immediately after she gets home.
  3. I will be in training (don’t laugh) for the next few weeks for this event, along with spending a lot of time tending to the garden and attending memorial services.

All I will be doing with my minimal time on here is checking the moderation for the groups in the morning and at night.

Thank you for reading.

Richard.

Can You help Dawlish RBL?

Hi all.

As some of you may know, I am a very active member of my local branch of the Royal British Legion and do as much as I can for fund-raising.

On Sunday 24th May, weather permitting, we are doing a ‘Moggie Push’ (Morris Minor, not a Cat. LOL) from Starcross to Dawlish, a distance of approx 5m/8km with proceeds going to the Poppy Appeal and I am asking if you could possibly help by sponsoring us.
We are not asking for lots of money but a £ or $ or whatever you can afford would be appreciated, especially as it is for a good cause.

Donations can be made via PayPal or by Cheque. If donating by PayPal, please BM me for info on how to pay or if paying by cheque, please make it out to ‘Poppy Appeal’ and sent to Helen Wills, Treasurer Dawlish Branch RBL, 42-44 Park Ro…
