the shadow on her left eye and the from the right side cheek to the her lips are great features, to me, signaling something is not right. the lipstick is marred (smudged) with the hand at her lips also says NO !!! VERY NICE PHOTO!!
i dont think elaboration is needed… an artist puts more than enough work in creating a piece, and once that task is done it is up to the viewer to interperate the piece with their own individual mindset and perspective. This, for me anyways, is the relationship between artist and viewer. i dont think anyone should ask more from an artist after they have just given us something that they’ve created from nothing, especially when its a piece as wonderful as this. The viewer should take it upon themselves to decide what the piece makes them think or feel. Not trying to sound jagged Michman, just throwing my useless two cents in. END TAPE
Moody Precisely!! The wonderful thing about art is the viewers individual take on the piece.. If I were to turn around and say “She was simply leaning on a tree” It would take so much away from how you percieve it.. or if I said “she had just found out her husband had cheated” it would have complete different impact on how you view it… So with this said… I will leave it up to you, the viewer to interperate how you feel about the image.. :D And all I can hope for is that you like it..
I love this image, i myself are really keen on black and white but havnt been too confident on portrait. You have inspired me to have a go. Love the shadowing and contrast. Great artwork, so much emotion…
