I thought that I would dust off my trumpet and give it a good old blow, because I was recently interviewed by Design juices, along with some of my tee designing chums. Hooray for me! You can check out the interview HERE if you are so inclined or if you are otherwise inclined, HERE is a picture of a man watching some paint dry. Enjoy…
I have been lucky enough to have one of my shirts chosen to be printed at Nowherebad.com. It’s there for 5 days only, starting today and then it’s gone forever. I’m really ecited about this opportunity and thought that it deserved me blowing my own trumpet a bit :o) I also want to thank everyone who has supported me here on redbubble, especialy the awesome RBC. Without you guys I would never have gotten this print, so thank you all from the bottom of my heart. I love you guys!
I’m doing a sticker giveaway over at my Facebook page. I am asking people to spread the word and “Like” my page to be in with a chance of winning a set of 6 free stickers. The goal is to get to 150 “Likes” by the end of July and if I do, then I’ll be giving away some stickers to a follower of my facebook page.
Fancy it? Of course you do, who doesn’t love free stuff! Just click HERE and then click “Like” at the top of my facebook page. If you want to tell your friends then the more the merrier :o)
I have some rather smashing news that I can’t really talk about here on RB as it involves one of my t shirts. If you fancy finding out all about it you can zip over to my blog to find out more and join me in shouting Hooray at random strangers in the street. I must warn you though… This news is pretty amazing. Infact if there was a competition for the most amazing news ever, it would get at least third prize.
One of the first things I do when I have an idea for a tshirt floating around in my head, is to do a search here on RB and on google to see if the idea has been done before. If I get a flood of similar images then I usually dismiss the idea straight away. I don’t do this for the sake of originality, as there are very few original ideas left (if any at all) but because I don’t want to go through the hassle of recieving angry mails from people claiming that I have ripped them off.…
This, however is starting to become a problem. As I said before, original ideas are extremely hard to come by these days, with everyone and his brothers cat making tshirts, so I am rejecting my ideas more and more and getting frustrated in the process. Should I be doing this or should I stop searching and just cre
I am gonna be submitting one of my designs to a new site later today but can’t make up my mind which one to sub. If you fancy giving me a hand, then click this marvelous link, pick your fave shirt from my portfolio and let me know under this journal entry.
If my design gets printed I will be giving away a tee to one of you smashing chaps or chapesses that help me out. So get your thinking trousers on and make me smile :o)
(I should probably say that whatever happens, the design will be staying on redbubble. I don’t want to get into trouble for using RB to promote other tshirt sites now do I. Love you redski bubbly)
I thought it was about time that I had some tentacles in my portfolio and as I am going for tentacles I might as well go the whole hog and have the Nautilus as well. Here is the base sketch for my next poster and tshirt.
Obviously there is still a lot of work to be done but you get the idea. Any feedback will be gratefully received (as long as you say that you love it) :o)
I really am in two minds about this design. I’m not always a fan of swear words on tshirts but it’s taken from some graffiti on a wall in the movie 28 days later. Apart from the fact that it’s a quote from a film, changing it would mean that it loses all it’s impact (in my opinion).
I would love to get some feedback on this one from you guys. Does it work? Would the swearing stop you buying or perhaps make you buy it??? Of course, you might just think it is complete trash, in which case please let me know. It’s late and I have been listening to slipknot while designing this, which might explain a few things…
My new tshirt catalogue is now up and running on my website. It has lots of swanky photos so that you can see what the designs look like on real shirts. It’s colourful and each shirt has a direct link back here to Rb so that those of you with sumptuous taste can buy one for your very own :o)
You can take a peek by clicking this stunningly clever link
I would love to know what people think so please take a second to leave a comment at the bottom of the catalogue page or if you don’t have time use one of the thumbs up or thumbs down buttons.
I’m working on a new design based on the legendary poker hand of wild Bill Hickock, that he had when he was killed, aces and eights.
I would love to get some feedback on the design so far. What works, what doesn’t, what else does it need… You guys know the kind of stuff
I’m thinking of maybe making the background a little busier with a different colour to fill in the blanks. Maybe with some kind of creeping ivy type plants or tumble weeds, that kind of thing… Or is there enough going on already?
