Before the Heat. by purelydecorative

My backyard grapevine with lanterns just before Melbourne descended into Hell and everything got fried.

Beautiful image. My heart is braking at the moment with the fire devistation.

So, so pretty…… looks like a wonderful little spot Rebecca and the holga effect adds a sense of intimacy. My garden is dried up and very dusty, seems to have happened overnight…. bring on the rain!!

  • I’m seriously thinking of taking a saucepan outside tonight and beating it with a wooden spoon and doing a rain dance while the moon is full-ish…do you think that would work Sylvia?

Amazing! Very secret-gardenesque. At least, how I pictured it! Hope all is well!

  • Thanks so much- the grapes have survived but not much else…sigh.

That is just so pretty. I hope it survived the heat.

  • The grapes got pretty crispy on the edges near the sun (instant sultanas), but the ones under the canopy are fine. Unfortunately the hollyhocks and cosmos were pretty severely traumatised. But life’s a cycle isn’t it? You just have to enjoy the moment…and I enjoyed this one.
