This is a portrait of my daughter, who is, and has been my precious happiness since the day of her birth, and who has been a guiding light that has sustained me. Her name means as much, her name is Claire, which means bright, clear, and brilliant light.

These are not professional shots of my paintings, and this one is slightly out of focus, so I am just putting these up right now as not for sale, in order to just share some of my art with my fellow artists.

This is a poem I wrote for my daughter…

MY BRIGHT, CLEAR, BRILLIANT LIGHT

my bright, clear, brilliant light…

she shines in my heart, my soul, my being
someone who brought magic to my life
she was a gift from God, an angel that touched my life
I will always love her, and think of her wherever I go…
and whatever I do
her gentleness, sweetness and understanding fill me with a
deep love
she will always be my Claire, my bright,clear, brilliant light…

Claire is my daughter. Her name means bright, clear, and brilliant light. She is my love and my guiding spirit and light. I think she is a shining star which is true, since her name also means famous. This poem is for her, love from mommy, always and forever.
