Taken on a chilly day in downtown Lexington, Kentucky.
This reflection was caught in the windows of the south wall of Rupp Arena, where the world-famous (most Kentuckians think) University of Kentucky wildcats pull in upwards of 25,000 fans per game. Unfortunately, their up and down season came to a crushingly premature halt this afternoon in California, at the hands of Marquette. This would make for an extremely depressing weekend locally, but playing behind this wall now are this season’s best boy’s high school basketball teams, vying for the 2008 Sweet Sixteen state title.
Kentuckians are fairly obsessive about their basketball, and when that is over, horses.
