Hello all,
My name is Carla Jensen. I am 44 and live in a semi arid region known as Odessa Texas. I am the proud mother of two wonderful girls and a young grandmother of 3 amazing grandchildren with one on the way. I have always loved taking photos and strive to learn all I can about photography. I am self taught and work hard to better my craft by trial and error, hints and tips. There is so much beauty in the world and I love to be able to materialize it through photography. If everyone had the time to stop and just look at what is around them I believe they would be pleasantly surprised. I enjoy taking photos of all kinds of subjects. I am working and learning right now to better myself with micro and portrait pictures. One of my favorite subjects for a portrait is my amazing granddaughter Faith. She is to me the epitome of a photogenic face. Photography to me is a way to preserve the astounding wonders of our world. It is a way of bringing life to lifelessness, to stir our emotions upon seeing something fantastic.
I dreamed of the ocean when asleep, I stood upon its shore.
I have it’s photo to gaze upon, a memory, only more.
So, as seen through my eyes, I hope to show you the wonders in our world as I see it.
