These precious photographs of Brisbane are all stored away in the Queensland State Archives and rarely see the light of day.
They were taken at the turn of the 19th century in 1898, on large format, 10×8 inch glass plates/negatives. Most have been severely damaged over the years, however, many hours of painstaking Photoshop work has restored something of their original condition for you to enjoy.
