I am a native of Lincoln Nebraska, USA, which is as close to culturally bankrupt as one can get. While there are a lot of great artists living here and many more that have moved away, there is still a formidable sense of stagnation. I do love the smallness and people are generally pleasant. I have been an artist as long as I can remember and will continue to be one until I am dust. All ego aside, it is what has kept me on the straight and narrow avoiding much drama in my life and acts as a cushion for me to escape. I mainly have a very whimsical style and enjoy a comic book feel to my work. There has been a great deal of evolution in my work as I grow older. It would have been a great time to live off of my art but I have a real difficult time compromising. Wow. It sounds as though i really know who I am, alas I do not. Thank you for reading. Hugs, Pawl
