I shall be leaving you shortly, on my final voyage
To travel in light, with love for you all
I know of your sadness, as I pause close beside you
But I wish you no grief, for I have loved ones here also.

My destination is calling, I can linger no more
I am protected and safe, no harm shall affect me
Soft wings that surround me, my angelic deliverance
My shepherd, my shelter, my seraphic aegis
