  • Thank you very much Poisonlolly!

I agree with you. I wish it happened more often though, as a mind in that state is a lot more visual and unique in it’s interpretations of life. Symbolic, at times.

You mean nightmare?,unless it was more of an observing things happen dream, but still looks pretty frightening.I had a nightmare, some years ago that I got up to go to the bathroom, but an invisible spectre grabbed me and started dragging me down the hall toward the TV in the Living room. What sucked is that when I woke up,I really had to go to the bathroom, and it was still quite dark out.It really was scary experiencing that feeling.

  • Yes the one aspect of the dream that lingers was the sheer terror, a sort of fear that you couldn’t turn your face from. I felt forced in my viewing of it. But I’ve come to cherish the dream now, as it resonates within me with a sort of peaceable reminder of it’s meaning, which I’ve yet to decipher.

Your dream sounds intense. It reminds me of the scene in Paranormal Activity, where she gets dragged out of bed as well.

I haven’t seen it yet,but I know we can borrow it from Donny’s family.Nightmare are always scarier though, because your actually experiencing it,although only in the mind. But the mind is a powerful thing.I hate the dreams where I encounter people tha turn out to be demons.Sometimes they tend to bite noses off.I’ve also had dreams where I was the one going off and biting my mom’s nose off. This was during my 1st marriage where my husband essentially used religion to mindf**k me into seperating from my family[saying my mom was a gossip, instead of the good Christian that she is] and moving us out to the country and not letting them know where I live. That’s what i get for marring someone after knowing them only6 months. But as soon as we took the vows he changed and pulled the "Cleave to your husband, leave the family, obey your man…bullsh+t manipulation process. And I was still naive at the time, although 23,but still lived with my parents until I got married. So much for meeting guys at church. The next 2 I met at bars.My 2nd was definately better, but a bad alcoholic, cynical & depressed. We were a lot alike except I used to be up beat.Around the time I decided the relationship was toxic, and wanted to seperate[10 yrs together],he OD’d on anti-depressants-the idiot DR’s gave him, while he was in for alcohol treatment. He lived through that a few days, cause he puked them up,but his heart was already bad,so he died 3 days later, while at his parents house-leaving me with a dreadful guilt.Anyway, here it is 8 yrs later-almost[June]-and I’m with a wonderful man that has his own Masonry business-1 employee-our friend, who is temporarily living with us until, more business picks up.Winter is slow and our friend couldn’t take staying with his stepfather any longer. But anyway,I’ve been with Donny 7yrs now.He has a positive attitude an is a responsible, steady worker. And I talking way to much now

hey Ricky, not sure how I missed this one. Awesome image. I used to call my recurring nightmare, a succubus, like a huge wreathing snake, weighted upon me. Could still feel it after I woke, and would lay there for hours trying to work out if it actually happened. Because it was so lucid, I finally screamed at it one night that it could never hurt me, and you know what, I haven’t had the nightmare again since.

  • That sounds intense. I love lucid dreams, terrifying or not, I enjoy them. I love that raw, unbiased thinking that comes with semi-conscious thinking. It’s not tainted by morals or anything. It’s great inspiration.
