THE QUINTESSENCE OF ART
“To seek the vision of all things all at once is to invite madness. To have a vision is common, but taking the plunge to create it is rare. Amidst chaos, chance the little things and dare to follow them as they may just set you free!"

I have always found ways to express myself artistically, building model boats, trains and planes when a youngster, to woodcrafts and wall collages in my adolescent years. Later, I designed and built my own flying model airplanes. Although I had artistic abilities, I had not appreciated photography as the art form it is until later in my life.
I was graduated from The Rhode Island School of Photography with both Comprehensive and Advanced diplomas, (1979-1980). Through a rather difficult passage and change of events in my life, I became a custom art framer until my retirement. This also fulfilled my need to be creative.
I feel most fortunate that digital photography came along just in time for me. Literally! Finding, grasping, embracing and enhancing brief flashes of clarity during the creative process, then releasing their essence in new ways have become the Eureka moments of joy in my life!
