HARRY (The Hat)
You’re guess is as good as mine. I was strolling in Trafalgar Square, taking a few shots, he was dancing, he asked me to take his picture. I said thanks very much and moved swiftly on.
I made up his name.

G’day Pryere,
You have proved the old saying that “it takes all kinds”. 8-)
A very good and very different informal-portrait-with-a-twist, with a good tonal range, equally good contrast, great focus and a good composition to help show off the hat in the frame well.
A real character and a great find!

pryere replied
Many thanks Von, much appreciated, I agree.
Alison Edge
I just love the way he is holding up his hand and showing off that bling!!!
Did you casually stroll away and then start running…?!!
pryere replied
Thanks Alison, much chuckling. No I didn’t run, I got the shots and moved on. Even though this guy was interesting, there was a sense of darkness about him. The reason he held up his hand was to hide his awful teeth! I didn’t notice this til I saw them on screen, I will spare you the horror. I have long realised that if you capture something worthwhile, dont milk it, move on, you could be missing something even better round the corner.
Sophie Shapiro
