john, this is great! look at all that grime in the corners and the grout and on the walls! the shine down the floor helpts lead you to the mysterious man in black. i’m also glad that the walls aren’t bare, way to catch the subtle graffiti on the left and the indent on the right. well composed :) oh, and great colour.

Alyssa, the colour is natural, the only tweaking is a little tuning with picasa, the odd shade of green is what appealed to me with this

I love the colouring and the atmosphere of this photo. I wouldn’t want to be in there alone. It is like an icon of the city for me. Bright, unnatural, dingy, enclosed, hard lines, fascinating.

An amazing image, well done, this is really AWESOME, wonderful atmosphere, this bigtime reminds me of a really scary moment as I walked home alone along the Embankment in the wee hours of the morning…. I had just started walking in a dark area when I spotted a man in the distance walking towards me!

Fantastic photograph John…the patterns on the floor and walls remind me an entrance or exit of a labyrinth, which involves intuition, creativity, and imagery. With a maze many choices must be made and an active mind is needed to solve the problem of finding the center. With a labyrinth there is only one choice to be made. The choice is to enter or not. A more passive, receptive mindset is needed. The choice is whether or not to walk a Spiritual Path. I know which you’ve chosen, your wonderful picture tells me! Sx

That is very well observed Sophie….....there is no going backwards, sideways, or round in circles anymore.
Thank you once again, my heart is joyous.

this image has so much working for it. the great geometrical squares in convergence, the noir silhouette of the man, the sublime tone. it all synthesizes beautifully. very nicely done! cheers.
