Daffodils were responding beautifully to the warm temperatures and today’s spring showers in Brandon Park. The park bench had been recently repositioned, to allow visitors to get a very closeup view of the flowers in the garden. A few early red tulips were beginning to blend in with the yellow daffodils, to add a little “spice” to the large flower bed.
This photo was captured on Saturday, March 24th 2012, on a warm but rainy afternoon in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, USA. This shot was captured with a Canon EOS 30D DSLR body, fitted with a Canon EF 17-40mm f/4L lens. The lens was set to its 31mm focal length. The camera’s shutter speed was 0.6 second, ISO 100. The lens’s aperture was f/14 with a CP filter mounted to control reflections. The camera was securely mounted on a Manfrotto 555 tripod with a 222 “Pistol Grip” head.
This is the same park bench that was featured in my photo titled “Abducted Park Bench” from a couple years ago. This shot was taken in late April, when the tulips were at their peak.
