There are 22 “named” waterfalls in Ricketts Glen. If you follow the flow of Kitchen Creek from the top of the gorge, the trek will eventually bring you to this point …the last waterfall plunge pool in the glen. You are viewing the bottom section of Adams Falls, at the southern-most point in Ricketts Glen State Park.
This composite image was captured with a Canon 30D DSLR camera body through a Canon EF 17-40mm f/4L lens that was set to the 17mm focal length. A 555 Manfrotto tripod and 222 pistol grip head were used with a remote shutter release cable. Three separate exposures were merged in Photomatix Pro v4.1 to reveal the finished image. The aperture was f/6.3 with 0.3, 0.8 and 1.0 second exposures. The total exposure time of the finished image was 2.1 seconds. The camera’s ISO was set to 100 for all exposures.

Ricketts Glen State Park is located at the junction of RT-118 and RT 487 in Fairmount Township, in north eastern Pennsylvania, USA. The Park is about half way between Williamsport and Wilkes Barre, PA.
