This composite HDR image was captured with a Canon 30D DSLR camera body through a Canon EF 17-40mm f/4L lens that was set to the 17mm focal length. A 555 Manfrotto tripod and 222 pistol grip head were used with a remote shutter release cable. Five separate long exposures were merged in Photomatix Pro v4.1 to reveal the finished image. The aperture was f/10 with 1.3, 1.5, 2.0, 3.0 and 4.0 second exposures. The total exposure time of the finished image was 11.8 seconds. The camera’s ISO was set to 100 for all exposures.

Adams is the first waterfall at the southern-most point in the gorge of Ricketts Glen State Park. Ricketts Glen is located at the junction of RT-118 and RT 487 in Fairmount Township in north eastern Pennsylvania, USA. This beautiful spot is about half way between Williamsport and Wilkes Barre, PA.
