It’s early December, not even officially winter yet …but already I’m dreaming of the pastel colors of spring.
This image is just as it was captured on April 19th, 2010, in a brisk spring breeze. The “bokeh” of red and yellow tulips with a swath of purple muscari flowers provided the bright natural backdrop for this shot.
These tulips were photographed in the main entrance garden of Brandon Park in the heart of Williamsport, Pennsylvania, USA.
This photo was taken handheld while lying on the ground with a Canon EOS 10D. I was using a Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 USM Macro prime lens. The shutter speed was 1/180th second with the aperture wide open at f/2.8. Taken in Brandon Park, Williamsport, Pennsylvania, USA.
