This is my second springtime photo of RB Ricketts falls on Kitchen Creek, taken from a very different perspective. I wanted to show the smaller falls off to the right side of the main waterfall. A dash of sunlight was highlighting that area …that’s what caught my eye.
This unforgettable sight can be seen along the Glen Leigh branch of the waterfall trail through the Glen.

This photograph was captured on Monday, May 17th, 2010, on a meet & shoot event with members of the “Welcome Pennsylvania” RedBubble group. It was taken with a Canon EF 17-40mm f/4L lens on a Canon EOS 10D DSLR body. The aperture was set to f/22, shutter speed .3 seconds at the 17mm focal length. The camera’s ISO setting was set to 200.
I have written a RedBubble Journal that explains exactly how I photograph waterfalls, titled “Some Tips for Waterfall Photos”.
