Hiking up the Glen Leigh Trail there is a beautiful shortcut to the Highland Trail in Ricketts Glen State Park. There are no waterfalls or special attractions along this route, but the path is just lovely in it’s own natural way.
This photograph was captured on Monday, May 17th, 2010, on a meet & shoot event with members of the “Welcome Pennsylvania” RedBubble group. It was taken with a Canon EF 17-40mm f/4L lens on a Canon EOS 10D DSLR body. The aperture was set to f/22, shutter speed 0.3 seconds at the 39mm focal length. The camera’s ISO setting was set to 200.
This photograph is “straight from the camera”, with no processing or adjustments what-so-ever.
Ricketts Glen State Park is located at the junction of RT-118 and RT 487 in Fairmount Township, Pennsylvania, USA. The nearest town is Red Rock, PA, about half way between Williamsport and Wilkes Barre, PA.
