Hello, My name is Gene. I live in the Susquehanna river valley (West Branch), in the mountains of north central Pennsylvania. I strive to produce photographic images that are simply “true” to the subject, usually with minimal post processing. If something is beautiful or interesting enough to deserve a viewer’s attention, it justifies being captured just as it is …or as close to reality as possible.

Cuteness doesn’t barely cover this, Gene! Well done portrait of this beautiful little person!

  • Thank you so kindly, Maureen! She’s my great niece, Ava. She wasn’t really very happy about this little photo session, but with a bit of patience, I was able to catch this one precious shot of her.

    All my best,

    Gene

I guess it is sort of fitting that I first noticed this image in the group: the-world-as-we-see-it-or-as-we-missed-it. But now that I see it – I recognize what I good piece it is. Glad I now see it.

  • Thank you so much, Bob!
