A snowy walk through the park revealed this wonderful, simple scene! I was extremely thankful that I decided to take that walk in the snow… the first snowstorm of winter.
If the little pine was talking to the maple tree, what do you think it would be saying?
This image was captured in Indian Park at the edge of Montoursville, Pennsylvania, USA. These trees are in clear view as you are walking through the General John Burrows covered bridge over Mill Creek. Looking through the covered bridge from the other side, the maple is perfectly framed. It’s like looking through a paper tube as a child, pretending it is a telescope.
The photo was shot with a Canon EOS 10D body fitted with a Canon EF 17-40mm f/4L Zoom lens, at the 17mm focal length. The shutter speed was 1/6th sec at f/8. The camera’s ISO was set to 100. A Manfrotto, tripod was used with a remote shutter release cable. The image was cropped very slightly, no processing or any form of enhancement.
