Our black cat, Miss Kitty, enjoying one of her favorite activities. She was sitting on our back porch, intently watching all of the birds in the trees.
We rescued our Miss Kitty, many years ago …just before the first snows of winter started to blow into our town. She actually adopted us, to be more accurate. This skinny little kitten had taken up uninvited residence on our back porch …it was obvious that she really needed a warm loving home. After a trip to the vet, she permanently became our fifth family member. We are extremely lucky that she choose us to be her “people”. I cannot even imagine the last eleven years without her. She is an amazing feline friend.
This closeup photo was taken with a Canon EOS 10D with a Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 Macro prime lens. The shutter speed was 1/20th sec at f/2.8, no flash. The camera’s ISO was set to 100. A Manfrotto tripod was used.
