We launched leggings! Step into a world of individuality.

After a dreary morning of steady rain and dark skies, the afternoon sun was shining through the thick muggy air to reveal this wonderful emerald green vista view.

This sprawling farmland photograph was captured in Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, not far from the community of Clarkstown. I was standing at the junction of Upper Bartlow Road and Ridge Lane.

This photo was taken with a Canon EOS 10D DSLR camera through a Canon EF 35-350mm f/3.5-5.6L telephoto zoom lens @ 45mm focal length. The shutter speed was 1/250th sec at f/9.5. The camera’s ISO was set to 100. A Manfrotto tripod was used with a remote shutter release.

Hello, My name is Gene. I live in the Susquehanna river valley (West Branch), in the mountains of north central Pennsylvania. I strive to produce photographic images that are simply “true” to the subject, usually with minimal post processing. If something is beautiful or interesting enough to deserve a viewer’s attention, it justifies being captured just as it is …or as close to reality as possible.

    Gorgeous capture..wow!

  • Thank you very much! It had been a dreary day here, totally overcast, until this break in the clouds appeared. The dim sun created a very unusual looking light, especially in the clouds.

I am so pleased that you enjoyed the picture!

    Best wishes,
