This rustic simple bridge was found on the “Highland Trail” in Rickett’s Glen, over one of the small tributaries of Kitchen Creek. Four large flat stones make up the natural bridge “deck”.
Rickett’s Glen is a Pennsylvania State Park in the north eastern part of the state. Some of the hiking paths are quite steep and very rugged, especially near the waterfalls, but some of the trails are a fairly easy stroll, like the section pictured here.
This photo was captured with a Canon EOS 10D camera body using a Canon EF 17-40mm f/4L Zoom lens, at the 36mm focal length. The shutter speed was .5 sec at f/11. The camera’s ISO was set to 100. A Manfrotto, tripod was used.
