This is a birds-eye view from above the “Rainbow Falls” in Watkins Glen, NY. This is one of the most specular hiking sites on earth! The young men passing under the falls should give you a good reference to judge of the full scope and majesty of this beautiful setting.
THIS ONE REALLY MUST BE VIEWED “LARGE”
This photo was taken with a Canon EOS 10D body fitted with a Canon EF 17-40mm f/4L Zoom lens, at 17mm. The shutter speed was 1/15th sec at f/4.0. The camera’s ISO was set to 400. A Manfrotto tripod was used with Manfrotto “pistol grip” ball head. A remote shutter release was also employed.
