This is the first impressive vision that welcomes most visitors to Watkins Glen State Park in New York State. It is the main entrance to the Glen at the lower end of the gorge. The man-made stone arch is the “Sentry Bridge”, across the gorge and Glen Creek. This site is located very near the southern tip of Seneca Lake in the the village of Watkins Glen, within the beautiful “Finger Lakes” reigon
This photo was taken at sunset with a Canon EOS 10D with a Canon EF 70-200mm f/4L telephoto zoom lens @ 70mm. The shutter speed was 1/250th sec at f/8. The camera’s ISO was set to 400.
