A very fast moving thunderstorm had just ended. As the sun broke through the gray clouds above, this wondrous scene appeared before my eyes.
The air had been renewed, smelling wonderfully fresh. All of the dust and pollutants had been washed out of the atmosphere and off of the beautiful foliage, leaving this pristine vista begging to be captured for all time.
This photo was taken on October 20th from Strafford Street in the east end of Williamsport, Pennsylvania, USA. It was shot handheld with a Canon EOS DSLR / EF 17-40mm f/4L lens at 21mm focal length, f/6.7 at 1/250 sec.
