Bradenton, UNITED STATES

After years of traveling for the corporate world, I am now tutoring at the local community college and traveling for personal enjoyment. I like to observe the differences in culture and identify the sameness which makes us all human. My photos often have a photo-journalistic approach. This is because I feel a picture is indeed worth a thousand words. Each picture should tell a little story about the place, the people, or the times.

I live in Florida and enjoy the endless summers- – just wish we could skip that hurricane season.

I have been taking photographs since 1987. However, I have only switched to digital in the past couple of years. It does take some getting used to.

I like not having to work in the darkroom with chemicals. However, the time in the darkroom seems to be replaced with time spent on Photoshop.

Private Moments
Sometimes when I am all alone / Quietly walking in the forest / Or along the water’s shore / Or on a mountain path / A feeling of oneness overcomes me. / So much so that I can / Taste the music of trees swaying, / Or hear the stars twinkling / Or feel the universe calling. / For less than a second, / Perhaps even less briefly, / Then and only then I feel truly / In the moment.
