These majestic rocks were only a few of the ones that captured my attention while driving along Interstate 93 and the US 40 Highway heading towards Seligman and Flagstaff in Arizona. I must have taken at least 40 or 50 similar shots along the way. But I promise not to post them all (LOL).

By the way, for those of you who have been traveling with me on this incredible journey, this is only Day 4. Few more days to go my friends.

Hope you like this one too.

Since joining RB I’ve greatly enjoyed being part of a lovely community of wonderful people. I’ve also made some new friends that I hope to meet one day in person. I have several passions/hobbies/professions (music, photography, martial arts & yes environmental engineering to name a few)! I am very blessed being able to work in all of these. Please feel free to visit & provide honest opinion on my photos as I am still learning (a day that goes by without learning anything is a wasted day).

they are majestic, and extremely red – love it hany !

  • Could not have said it better. They were indeed majestic (and huge)!!! And yes, extremely red, perhaps due to all the oxidation over the gazillion years these rocks have been around. Thank you Dean. Sincerely appreciate all your visits, the feedback, the support and the favorites.

Red Rock is awesome, Standing on the very top of the rocks I can see my house from there.
A site to behold. Love this.! You can eat your box of cookies here…LOL

  • I was going to drop by for a visit; but didn’t know if the coffee would be on and the cookies were baked; on another thought I should have brought us the coffee and the cookies… oh well…. next time. Do I need a written invitation? Definitely a site to behold and a trip that will remain in my memory for a very long time. P.S. I am posting these images so I can get you to feel home sick and may be you’d start packing up and move back to Utah. I hear it never stops raining in England…. besides the cookies here are much more loaded with chocolate (LOL)

You are making me home sick, yes, I must admit. I’m packing up up and moving back home
soon. The weather here has changed to being really cold with a few frosty mornings. About the rain, we dont have as much as they do up north, but there weather is awful, up there is Always raining, but us southerners we are lucky.

  • Well may be that is just lucky for a lot of us here on RB; we get to see then your AWESOME interpretation of beautiful Utah. How about that? Besides, may be less rain, not much frost, and much more pleasant weather in Utah? I’ll take that anytime. Good to hear back from you Tracy.

Magnificent Hany!!… stunning rock formations and colours…you can put all your shots on for me, I thoroughly enjoy seeing places I have yet to visit.

  • Hello Kate….. thank you for your very generous and wonderful feedback…. if you haven’t been to this place, you should definitely add it to your list… believe me it is a place worth visiting and an experience you will definitely enjoy. May you should coordinate a trip up there with Joyce, and I am offering my bodyguard services for the duration…… for free of course (LOL)….. Thanks again Kate; sincerely appreciated. Hany

I most definitely do Hany. Another awesome capture of the red rocks which just take my breath away. The color and texture is amazing, and if I hadn’t seen them for myself, I would not have believed the richness shown. I can well believe you took 40 – 50 similar shots along the way, the views are so captivating. Susan

  • Hi Susan; sorry I missed your comment earlier as I must have been at work. I really apprecite your more than wonderful comments and feedback to my images. You’ve seen this place before, and you probably experienced the same majestic colours and captivating textures as I did; and I don’t really think that my pictures are doing these rocks any justice. But I am glad they bring back some good memories for you. Thank you Susan.
