This is an image of one of the pathways around Old San Juan leading to El Morro, a fort that is located on the head land overlooking the entrance to San Juan Bay. It was built to protect the city of San Juan from seaborne enemies. The actual name of the fort is Castillo San Felipe del Morro.

Since joining RB I’ve greatly enjoyed being part of a lovely community of wonderful people. I’ve also made some new friends that I hope to meet one day in person. I have several passions/hobbies/professions (music, photography, martial arts & yes environmental engineering to name a few)! I am very blessed being able to work in all of these. Please feel free to visit & provide honest opinion on my photos as I am still learning (a day that goes by without learning anything is a wasted day).

    Interesting location – nice shot.

  • Thank you so much. It’s a very impressive fort with many towers and ramps leading to multiple levels and overlooks the wonderful city of Old San Juan from one direction and the ocean from the other. It’s also designated as a World Heritage Site by the USESCO. Glad you like it. Thank you.
