Another image from my series depicting the Great Wall at Mutianyu, about 3 hours north of Beijing. Only few sections of this part have seen some restoration in recent history. Most parts have not seen any restoration in hundreds of years. Which ever way you think about it, words just don’t do it any justice.

Since joining RB I’ve greatly enjoyed being part of a lovely community of wonderful people. I’ve also made some new friends that I hope to meet one day in person. I have several passions/hobbies/professions (music, photography, martial arts & yes environmental engineering to name a few)! I am very blessed being able to work in all of these. Please feel free to visit & provide honest opinion on my photos as I am still learning (a day that goes by without learning anything is a wasted day).

you seems traveled a lot in china. i was here…long ago:) the air seems looks better than before. nice angle.

  • I did spend lots of time in China; mostly Beijing, north of Beijing in the mountains, and in Jiangsu Province (Nanjing, Sujo, other places). I would love to go back again (for the third time). I am planning on going back in 2 years time. Glad you like the view.

My son has always dreamed of going there one day so when I see that someone else has been, I always ask about their trip. I hear good things.

  • If you like I can fill you in on many details. And if you are interested in specifics, let me know. Will be more than happy to asnwer your questions from my own personal experience. He won’t regret it if he plans ahead.
