The Forbidden City - Series A - Doors & Windows 5 by

In reference to my Doors & Windows #4 photo, I thought I would show this image just to put things in perspective. These doors are at least 12 feet high, 4 feet wide, and about 10 inches thick. Can you imagine opening and closing these doors with these handles?!!!

Since joining RB I’ve greatly enjoyed being part of a lovely community of wonderful people. I’ve also made some new friends that I hope to meet one day in person. I have several passions/hobbies/professions (music, photography, martial arts & yes environmental engineering to name a few)! I am very blessed being able to work in all of these. Please feel free to visit & provide honest opinion on my photos as I am still learning (a day that goes by without learning anything is a wasted day).

This is a truly beautiful wall – at a quick first glance it almost reminded me of Mickey Mouse – but upon looking closer a majestic entrancing door.

  • Totally agree with you – many of these scenes at first make you wonder “am I seeing this right”, but then when taking a closer look, you just can’t help it but look, see, and admire.

Thank you for your kind comment.
