Coming up with a tour to this famous historical icon of my city – Pune, India.

This time going a bit close, to present Shaniwar Wada with a new perspective.

This is a popular view of this fortress from Delhi darwaja ( Delhi gate ). This gate was named as it has facing towards Delhi, now the national capital of India.

As photography has limited access use of tripod is nit allowed and this shot was taken hand held, manual mode.

Enjoy the taste of history and art on enlarged view :)

I have reworked this photograph in Photomatix HDR with final touch up in PS ( 21.12.2012 )

Have a tour of Shaniwar Wada, here.

Equipment : Canon EOS 400D.

You nailed it Prasad.. this will ..no must be featured next .. wow the POV and the tones are both the feeling of reaching back in time.. wonderful work friend.

  • Absolutely flattered, Linaji. Thank you so much for inspiring me. I was li’l unfortunate as my battery dried out as I was just half way to the work on it. Coming week might complete the remaining work on it.
