Megh #1

Megh – The clouds of monsoon has been a subject of poetry in India. Indian music has many ragas ( specific set of basic nodes in music which can be used as a basis of compositions ) on Megh.

This photograph was taken in my city recently. The second tree right side of the image besides road is my favorite spot for earlier series – A day on the planet Earth

HDR generated image from single RAW file x3 in Dynamic PhotoHDR and CS3

Equipment Canon EOS 400D and Canon EF S 10 – 22 mm lens with CPL and ND4 filter.

Another gorgeous work, Prasad! Always fabulous to see your continent in these wonderful colours – this landscape looking rather dry despite the heavy cloud. Would not have picked the tree as your previous subject unless you pointed it out! – certainly still interesting material.

Hi Sharon, The tropical monsoon was delayed for at least a month this year. For at least 8 days we had heavy clouds but were missing the rain. I was a bit lucky as rain started from the next day i.e. 2nd July. I’m bit lazy when I decide to go in the field even this one is just 4 km from my home it took about a weeks time to step out of home. I’ll be catching some moments in the later part of the season. I also have missed the greens around there. Thank you so much for your kind words.
