Vintage Lines

A vintage music with the lines, light and shadow. Another series in Vintage abstract and Vintage abstract #2. Here I have used Hue and saturation tool to convert origanl bright orange color to green, to create depth and relief :) Better enjoyed on large view.

Processed with 3 different images in Photoshop CS3 and finally flattened. ( Posted on – 22.03.2009 )

Equipment : Canon EOS 400D

It took a little while for me to pick up on the perspective in this and see that it is part of a car. I love the straight lines, with the outside curving one – and the beautiful green.

  • Prasad replied

I was just moving around to get right framing on the day when I captured it. It was once in a year event for me and tried to exploit most of the vinatge beauties. Thanks for inspiring comment, but it’s of a fire brigade van :))

    G’day Prasad!
I have come back to this one many times.
I think it is the simplicity and abstractness of the subject, the pleasing, soothing green tones and the diagonal set of those lines that sticks in my mind.
A very interesting and pleasing image.
