This is too wonderful. Where WHERE O WHERE do you find these fabulous unfindable places, Prairie? And so prettily taken care of; the truck looks proud.
Years ago in Vermont I used to go to the rural farm auctions. Apple cider, sandwiches for a nickel, you sat down on a log or folding chair and enjoyed the show. Invariably the auctioneer, after minutes of muscial selling that wasn’t finding buyers, would say, “Okay Ladies! THIS will make a great planter!” Sometimes it was a barrel or washing machine. Sometimes, a truck.
PrairieRose replied
LOL! Hi Barbara! Your travels have led you to the most interesting characters, that’s for sure….....This shot (and most of the others I uploaded recently) were shot at the fanciest “FRUIT STAND” I have ever seen…......It’s run by Mennonites and the place was an absolute delight…....a bit touristy yet very interesting…...THANK YOU SO MUCH for your awesome comment….....I always LOVE your visits!! Hugs, Prairie Chick (hey, that’s a good name, don’t your think? LOL) xx

Gorgeous. Of course, you need a Canadian sized garden to have this kind of planter!
Wonderful again.

I’ll bet this old truck looks so much better as a planter than it did as a vehicle of destruction. I have to say that she looks rather proud of herself . Great shot Rose.

Love it!! Amazing contrast between old and new. Beautiful capture. Never see old vehicles around here, they would be a little pile of rust by now.
PrairieRose replied
