Pictured is “Beazely” a Caspain Tern just before his release we found him tangled in fishing line close to death.
He enjoyed a week of warm salt baths to soothe the wounds caused by the hooks & line, and gained plenty of energy from the non stop white bait scoffing.
He is the first sea bird that we have nurtured. He was highly intelligent and friendly; within days he could recognised the sound of the freezer door opening and would run for more whitebait as if starving.
