Reporting Mayhem by PPPhotoArt

This is a shot taken off the tv of a CBC reporter who seemed quite traumatized by what was going on downtown on Queen Street West, Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
Notice the guy at her back who is actually guarding her because of the dangerous situation the reporters were in as a few of the channels news vans were also vandalized and one reporter from CTV was almost hit in the head by a brick thrown at him.
Nice people, what is wrong with them?
Anyway just look at the expression on this reporters face, I think it tells the story of the day.

Always loved art and now especially photography. I’d love to be able to shoot wildlilfe but unfortunately is not possible when you live in a big city and I don’t travel too much these days. I do the best I can and love to experiment on certain images, which most of the time really works, it’s funny how things just come together!!! I really appreciate your visit and commenting on my images, I am always working harder to improve!!! All the best.

This is fantastic, such a mood to it! how clever of you ( :

  • thank you so much for your wonderful comments and I was really pleased with this result as it does show how real this was and there are still protests going on in different parts of the city and very close to where my son and his wife live and they said stay off Eastern!!! it was really bad down there this morning, anyway we’ll have to wait and see what else happens

brilliant capture Patricia , the world is going crazy !! so very sad . this lady certainly looks in shock poor thing, Jane xx

  • thank you so much Jane for your lovely comments and yes she was a bit distraught and this shot was from a different news team than hers, I wanted to go and do a photoshoot but thought better of it as I certainly didn’t want to get into trouble or in conflict with any of these bad elements and knowing me if I saw them doing damage I would have to say something so better to stay away, take care love xxx

Looks very dangerous there, great timing on the image.

  • thank you so much Rosalie and yes Saturday was a very bad day but Sunday police got tough and arrested so many people so today there was a protest about police brutality, these people make you sick, I think they need to get a job and do something worthwhile with their lives and what can you expect if you get embroiled with protestors, why didn’t I go down and take photos in the crowd, because believe me I wanted to get some really good photo journalistic work but I drove around and observed then went home, that’s why I tried to take some off the tv which is extremely difficult to get a good shot because of the movement of the cameras used, anyway thanks again love

Great work. I don’t know what happened, but she is clearly traumatized. You captured this perfectly.

  • thank you so much Tori for your fabulous comments as it is really difficult to get a good shot off the tv, well it was the g20 summit and on the Saturday there was a lot of damage and criminal protesting going on and the police really didn’t do too much then on the Sunday they arrested over 1,000 people so it was the sublime to the ridiculous scenario but everything is back to normal now thank goodness!!!!
