The Travelling Buddha by Ken Powers

Small (16.4" x 22.8")

Available to buy on…

This statue sits in the Chinese restaurant across the street from my work. They were nice enough to let him model for this painting. It is painted with Rublev 18th century watercolor paint on Arches 140# cold-pressed paper. The original is 10″×14″ and the interaction of paper and paint in this piece really create some interesting textures.
