Gears

This is a painting of some gears on the inside of the lathe at my workplace. The painting is done using Rublev 18th century reproduction watercolor paint on Arches 140# cold-pressed paper. The paper and paint create interesting textures together. The original piece is 9.75” x 13.75” in size.

Winner of the Mechanical Madness challenge.
2nd Place Finisher in Tools With Teeth challenge.
