This small, innocent looking little island was a favourite haunt of smugglers during the 1700’s andprobably was the equivalent of a modern day container port in those days due to the amount of traffic using it.
Poverty, oh…forgive me for not spotting this little beauty sooner. I love the Sun reflecting off the water. The history behind this smuggler’s haunt is fascinating. This is the kind of place I’d like to explore with camera in hand. What can I tell you, I’m the curious cat/child, it’s my gift and curse. LOVELY capture indeed. Cheers!, Lisa =)XO
