Cute title Tony for this beautiful submission. Love Dianthus flowers, they are always so vibrant in colour, and you have captured this one well, with good photographic skills, lighting and focus. Nice work my friend.

  • Glad you like it Susan. I think that the " punk " haircut is me wishing I still had enough hair left to be able to have one. Thank you for the really lovely comment which I appreciate so much. Take care. Cheers.Tony.

    Well…. you succeeded…. :-)
    Lovely flowers and capture, Tony!

  • I’m glad you think so Thea. As soon as I saw it I thought " punk ". My three sons all went through that period as teens and we used to ask them only to come home in the dark to avoid frightening the neighbors. Thanks a load for such a nice comment. Cheers.Tony.

    great image Tony xx

  • Cheers Lynn. Daft thing is I actually used to find myself listening to Punk music, well that is, I didn’t have much choice due to the volume my sons used to play it at in the house. Ah well, they’re all middle aged now and going through it with their teens. Cheers and thanks. Tony.

Very bright and beautiful, Tony!! Punk is still cool!!

  • Oh Gena, so good to think Punk is still cool. I loved all of the Punk stuff even though I was much past it myself. My three sons all went through that and it was " colourful " to say the least. Many thanks and cheers.Tony.

Great capture Tony. Like how you shot it as the first blossom with the buds awaiting.

  • Just in time as the others were out next day and that would have spoilt it for me as this was the image I wanted. Thanks and cheers. Tony.

Great capture and title Tony … I was born too early to be a punk but did wear the flowers in my hair during my flower-child years ha ha :)

  • Flower power, now those are words that bring back great memories for me Susie some of which would be too embarrassing to mention here though. Great that you were a " flower child " and I can imagine you with flowers in your hair having a great time. Happy days. Thanks so much Susie. Cheers.Tony.

    ah what a vibrant star!

  • Thought I’d have my 9 hairs that I have left dyed that colour but, wife put her foot down as it would clash with the wallpaper in the house. Ah well. Thanks Georgie. Cheers.Tony.

Beautiful little flower, I think you call it “Sweet William” and we call it “carnation”. Excellent title:)

  • I have to confess maria that I have no idea of it’s name, I’m the stupid one so will have to ask my wife. Thanks for appreciating the title, mad I know but I can’t change now as too old. Cheers.Tony.
