C’est l’impression que je voulais donner, et apparemment elle semble être bien passée….on attend toujours le soleil et la chaleur ici, il ne nous reste qu’à faire de longues balades sur les plages (des Landes) en attendant de pouvoir enfin se tremper un peu…Merci de ton commentaire

oui, car il fait un temps pourri depuis des mois ici et on aimerait qu’il fasse vraiment plus chaud pour aller se tremper un peu ! je disais qu’il ne nous restait que les balades sur les plages vers Hossegor, St Jean ou Anglet en attendant de pouvoir piquer une tête !

If I could capture the heat with the haze of a hot day, I’m happy because that’s what I wanted to represent. What I like in this type of loose painting is that it doen’t require a great deal of precision !

sorry, on m’appelait…figure toi que je ne voulais pas le mettre celui-là parce que je le trouvais mal fini, beaucoup trop abstrait à mon goût et Louis a fini de me convaincre que comme il faisait très chaud ce jour là, on pouvait aisément imaginer les gens vus comme à travers un mirage de chaleur comme tu dis très justement. Alora ecco …..j’aime bien la couleur pain d’épice au fait, ça me fait penser à l’enfance et à ceux de bonne-maman !

Yes Corinne – you really have given the viewer the impression of intense heat with your use of colour and the strong shadows, which indicate it is around the middle of the day. I don’t know how I missed this one when you posted it. Your work gets more and more ‘incroyable’. (Back to the dusting now – how boring)!!!!
