Photo Tools

I just deleted Photoshop off of my computer, it was just too big and I don’t like it that much anyways. I was wondering, what free photo tools do you all use? Also for borders, and fun things, like photo tubes. I am trying for the umpteenth time to download Corel. Hope it works this time! But any suggestions are very much appreciated!
